What you will do

• Own the UI technical area of the game in collaboration with the tech lead and UI team.
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, animators, and artists to implement UI aspects of game features.
• Develop a high-level framework of reusable UI components for cross-project efficiency.
• Implement features focusing on maintenance, evolution, and live support while adhering to quality and performance standards.
• Test, debug, and optimize code at both low and high levels to ensure optimal quality.
• Actively participate in the team's code review process.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a programmer within the game industry.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Deep understanding of game engine internals and editor concepts.
• Passionate about gaming technologies, UI, and player experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Montreal, QC.

Nice to have

• Development experience with Unreal Engine 4 or later.
• Experience with UMG or MVVM frameworks.
