What you will do

• Extend and evolve the Verse compiler toolchain and VM, implementing new language features.
• Integrate the toolchain into Unreal Engine's content, build, and cooking pipelines.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and iteration times across the Verse toolchain and UE boundary.
• Establish test workflows to validate improvements and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate closely with the Verse Language team and the broader Unreal Engine programming organization.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of C++17 or later.
• Experience in profiling and optimizing large codebases.
• Strong ability to reason about large, interconnected systems.
• Deep expertise in compiler and VM internals or Unreal Engine integration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across programming teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver practical solutions independently.
