What you will do

• Architect and develop applications leveraging modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Define technological choices and best practices to ensure secure, maintainable code.
• Conduct code reviews and oversee CI/CD processes to deliver high-quality issuing payment solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote skill development through training and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on feature development and system improvements.
• Optimize application performance, security, and cloud cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT and the payments industry.
• Strong knowledge of credit card schemes (VISA, Mastercard) and the credit card lifecycle.
• Technical proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, REST, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with requirement engineering, solution design, and GitLab CI.
• English: C1 level required.
• Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania.
