Staff Data Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid work from Kraków, Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia, Poland, with at least one office day per month.

Salary: 1,200–1,840 PLN per day + VAT on B2B

What you will do

• Build and scale modern data solutions for a new fintech initiative.
• Own and develop the Feature Store architecture.
• Design data engineering solutions supporting payments and financial products.
• Work with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Structured Streaming, Airflow, dbt, and CDC.
• Collaborate with experienced technology teams and contribute to a new business area from its early stages.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Proven experience owning Feature Store architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks and Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Kafka, Structured Streaming, Airflow, dbt, and CDC.
• Knowledge of Data Lineage and GDPR.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial regulations including IFRS 9, DORA, and CCD2.
