What you will do

  • Design end-to-end computational pipelines to process and analyze multi-modal data.
  • Develop algorithms that integrate diverse information sources to generate predictions and actionable insights.
  • Build interpretable models that reveal underlying mechanisms and patterns in large-scale datasets.
  • Collaborate with machine learning scientists and domain experts to ensure technical rigor and practical impact.
  • Establish best practices for data integration, quality assessment, and validation.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience applying statistical models for large-scale applications and building automated analytical systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages.
  • Practical experience applying ML to solve complex, real-world problems.
  • Strong background in domain-specific knowledge graphs and integrating heterogeneous data types.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with longitudinal or time-series data at scale.
  • Familiarity with industry data standards and interoperability frameworks such as HL7, FHIR, or OMOP.
  • Experience with causal inference methods.
  • Publication record in applied computational science or related fields.
