System Integration/Test Engineer (Electro-Optical)

System Integration/Test Engineer (Electro-Optical): Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components for sensor development in electrical, optical, IR, and electro-optical designs for space applications with an accent on synthesizing customer requirements into test solutions acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Focus on developing test plans and procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and verifying system performance through comprehensive reports.

Location: Onsite in Orlando, FL (no relocation package)

Salary: $65/hr - $71.50/hr W2 (no health benefits/no PTO while on contract)

What you will do

• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and testing solutions for components, subsystems, and systems.
• Synthesize customer requirements into system test solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Establish specifications, solve hardware/software interface problems, and ensure full system integration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate testing activities, analyze results, and prepare evaluation reports to verify performance.
• Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to validate fixes.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security clearance issued by the Department of Defense
• US Citizenship required (no C2C, no 1099, no outside agencies)
• At least 5 years of experience in electro-optical, optical, or IR design and development
• At least 6 years of experience with design, integration, test, and verify/validate of electro-optical designs
• Experience developing advanced test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports
• At least 6 years with Physics, develop/execute test plans, and Electronic Testing
