What you will do

• Drive product development for semiconductor inspection systems with a focus on performance, robustness, and manufacturability.
• Support system-level integration across optics, imaging, hardware, software, and application workflows.
• Analyze product performance and identify gaps to improve inspection sensitivity, stability, and throughput.
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments to evaluate system behavior and engineering risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to root-cause technical issues and drive corrective actions.
• Translate customer needs into engineering requirements, validation plans, and development priorities.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: PhD with 0 years, Master's with 3 years, or Bachelor's with 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong background in engineering or physical sciences with demonstrated analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of optical imaging systems and their key components.
• Experience in optical system modeling and performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with optical microscopy techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Fourier optics and geometric optics.
• Experience with lasers, illumination systems, and CCD/CMOS cameras.
