Location: UK-based candidates only with right to live and work in the UK. Hybrid with minimum 3 days per week in Milton Park office (Abingdon on Thames); must live within commutable distance. Office relocating to Oxford city centre in late 2027/early 2028.

What you will do
- Lead pricing strategy for B2B/B2C Open Access products, including annual updates, new propositions, packaging, and innovative business models.
- Own implementation of pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
- Define and automate tracking of key metrics for Open Access volume, yield, and pricing performance.
- Build relationships and communicate with stakeholders and executives to drive change and alignment.
- Oversee Pricing Analytics Manager (dotted line) and develop AI-driven pricing models and automation systems.
- Drive strategic initiatives across teams for global execution.
Requirements
- Right to live and work in the UK; live within commutable distance of Milton Park office.
- Proven pricing expertise driving revenue growth; experience leading new strategies in data/information services or academic publishing.
- Strategic leadership across teams without direct authority; global initiative execution.
- Advanced analytics: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
- AI/automation bias for pricing models, market prediction, and workflow efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and global mindset for international markets.
Nice to have
- Experience in Open Access pricing at an academic publisher.
- Background in niche strategy consultancy or in-house Strategic Pricing Team.
