What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering the menu experience for mobile and web.
• Implement and optimize the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer to ensure low-latency API responses.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to design and deploy new menu features.
• Optimize SQL database queries and caching strategies for high-performance data retrieval.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and logging for all backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of technical best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Professional experience with ReactJS web applications.
• Expertise in Kotlin or other JVM-based languages.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and BFF architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Advanced English communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with DataDog and various logging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools like Cursor or Windsurf in daily development.
