PLM Project Manager (Defense)

Location: Hybrid in Saint Paul, MN. Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain an active DoD secret clearance. Travel required 1-2 times per month.

Salary: $145,000 - $174,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee PLM system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements for DoD customers.
• Manage and curate product features and backlogs, ensuring value optimization.
• Lead collaboration and facilitate sprint activities within Agile frameworks.
• Create product roadmaps and communicate vision to clients and leadership.
• Integrate AI/ML technologies into system development and product roadmaps.
• Conduct market research on technology trends to drive decision-making.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and active DoD secret clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering or manufacturing enterprise system projects.
• 3+ years of experience with large-scale business enterprise systems (ERP/PLM).
• BS in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Prior experience as a consultant for PTC or Siemens partner organizations.
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
