Windchill Application Developer (SIE): Developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Windchill & ThingWorx Navigate solutions for US Navy support with an accent on custom actions, workflows, data utilities, reports, and enterprise integrations. Focus on designing complex customizations, debugging defects, conducting comprehensive testing, and providing user training.

Location: Remote (United States). Requires active or ability to obtain U.S. national security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Travel may be required to customer sites.

Salary: 120,000 - 150,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Windchill technical solutions and estimate efforts.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom Windchill & ThingWorx solutions like actions, wizards, workflows, reports, and OIRs.
• Support integrations between Windchill and other enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain custom user interfaces.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing; debug and resolve defects.
• Develop documentation, provide end-user training, and stay current with Windchill advancements.

Requirements

• Currently hold or able to obtain U.S. security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
• PTC certifications for Windchill.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Windchill PLM & ThingWorx Navigate customization (version 12+ and 9+).
• Strong Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, HTML5 programming skills.
• Windchill system/business administration knowledge including security.
• Experience collaborating with PTC support & R&D; excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, SQL scripting).
• Agile certifications and CI/CD with GIT.
• AWS, Red Hat Linux admin/shell scripting, Windchill installation/upgrades.
• Fortify/security tools, performance issue resolution.
• Aerospace/defense industry and DoD software policies knowledge.
