What you will do

• Design and develop signal/information processing and machine learning systems to support mission objectives.
• Research and transition cutting-edge AI/ML software into fielded signal processing systems.
• Lead the hands-on design, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of production-level AI/ML solutions.
• Develop automation algorithms, display systems, and OMI software using advanced mathematical and engineering expertise.
• Collaborate within small teams to contribute to enterprise-level software system integration efforts.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (Advanced degree preferred).
• 5–7+ years of progressive engineering experience (10+ years for senior roles).
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and programming in C, MATLAB, Python, and TensorFlow.
• Demonstrated experience in AI/ML system research, development, validation, deployment, and sustainment.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must currently possess or be able to obtain and maintain a US government Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Java, Unity, Godot, and related software frameworks.
• Experience supporting Navy sonar systems (e.g., SQQ-89, IUSS, SURTASS, SUB Passive Sonar).
