What you will do

• Lead operational support of HPC networks including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, and InfiniBand/RoCE fabrics for reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues impacting AI/ML workloads and minimize downtime.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, BGP/OSPF routing, IP planning, VLANs, and security zones.
• Develop automation scripts with Ansible, Python, Terraform for network operations.
• Integrate networks with HPC platforms like Slurm and Kubernetes; collaborate with compute, storage, and SRE teams.
• Handle on-call rotations, RCA, documentation, audits, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; 8+ years in enterprise network ops, 2+ years leading.
• Hands-on with data center gear (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Mellanox, NVIDIA); Layer 2/3 protocols, TCP/IP, multicast, QoS, VXLAN/EVPN.
• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), VPNs; low-latency HPC/AI networks with InfiniBand/RoCE.
• Kubernetes networking (CNI, policies); CI/CD, Git, DevNet practices.
