What you will do

• Monitor breaking news, clip, edit, and post content timely across social platforms
• Collaborate with producers to edit video and graphics
• Create and publish engaging graphics and photo posts for Instagram and TikTok
• Research, fact-check stories, and identify standout clips
• Pitch creative social media stories and support daily marketing efforts
• Assist with special projects like decks and research

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media / news production (including internships)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, audiences, and trends
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for video editing
• Expertise in Canva, Figma, and Adobe Photoshop
• Familiarity with digital production gear (cameras, microphones, etc.)
• Must work in New York City; hybrid 3 days in office
