What you will do

• Design, build, and operate LLM-powered systems from initial design through production deployment and iterations
• Develop scalable agentic AI automation using reasoning, memory, frameworks, and workflow orchestration
• Implement GenAI patterns like RAG, tool calling, and multi-step workflows optimized for accuracy, reliability, and cost
• Build data ingestion and retrieval pipelines for unstructured documents
• Fine-tune LLMs for domain-specific tasks and set standards for evaluation, monitoring, and observability
• Deploy and optimize GenAI services on AWS, collaborating with product managers and mentoring engineers

Requirements

• 8+ years in software/ML/applied AI engineering
• Proven experience building and operating production LLM systems
• Strong Python, PyTorch/Hugging Face skills
• Agentic AI with frameworks like LangChain/CrewAI and engines like AWS Bedrock
• RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt orchestration
• AWS deployment (SageMaker, Bedrock, EKS/ECS, Lambda, S3) and cross-layer debugging

Nice to have

• Masters/PhD in CS/AI/ML or related
• Healthcare/pharma/diagnostics experience
• AI governance, bias detection, explainability, HIPAA/CLIA/FDA compliance
