What you will do

• Execute live switching for fast-paced news programming based on Director instructions.
• Prepare, route, and manage video and audio signal paths.
• Build and program switcher effects and transitions.
• Serve as Crew Chief when assigned and support control room operational needs.
• Test and troubleshoot broadcast systems and equipment prior to air.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and broadcast standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating production switchers, specifically Sony MVS series.
• Experience with Ross Video switchers and automation systems (e.g., OverDrive).
• Familiarity with Chyron ISQ systems and other switcher-related peripherals.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in live news or sports production control room environments.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours with limited notice.
• Must be able to attend in-person interviews at company locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with iNews newsroom systems.
• Advanced PC and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
