What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs for core product.
• Contribute to new features and improve reliability and performance.
• Build tooling to accelerate team velocity and solve customer issues.
• Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools fluently with sound judgment.

Requirements

• 8+ years Java development in enterprise environment
• Proficient in server-side Java; Apache Tomcat experience a plus
• Strong SQL and relational database skills
• Experience with systems at scale: thousands of servers, millions of customers
• Regular experience with agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.)
• Comfort with Linux/macOS/Windows platforms

Nice to have

• Clustered MySQL systems
• Python for scripting, tooling, or data
• JavaScript and/or React
• Struts or JSPs
