Designer - Acoustics (AEC)

TL;DR

Location: Must be eligible to work in the United States. Hybrid environment (office/remote) with approximately 25% travel to client sites.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 a year

What you will do

• Prepare and update Revit models, drawings, and documentation for acoustics and other technology disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineering mentors and production staff to ensure coordinated construction document delivery.
• Implement redlines, design updates, and maintain accurate project markups.
• Participate in project meetings, daily huddles, and BIM coordination discussions.
• Support site visits, existing conditions verification, and basic clash detection reviews.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in the AEC industry or technology systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for task tracking and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Exposure to BIM coordination concepts (model linking, worksets, clash identification).
• Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Industry certifications such as EIT, CDT, or Revit/BIM certifications.
