Media Operations Technician

Media Operations Technician (Media Supply Chain): Oversee inbound and outbound digital delivery for hirify.global Networks with an accent on content QC, encoding, editing, and fulfillment to cable networks and online outlets. Focus on maintaining 99.999% reliability, verifying metadata and technical specifications, and performing real-time quality control screening.

Location: Hybrid in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Must be willing to adhere to onsite strategy and work any shift including overnights/weekends. Must have unrestricted US employment authorization.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000

What you will do

• Maintain on-air continuity by completing all broadcast content including long-form, promos, commercials, and graphics via automated material management system.
• Perform source content QC, encoding, editing, and delivery across the digital supply chain.
• Verify metadata and technical specifications for inbound/outbound content to meet hirify.global and client standards.
• Support Program Operations, On-Air Marketing, and Programming with ingest, transcode, and QC needs.
• Conduct real-time high-resolution QC screening to identify legal, technical, and creative issues.
• Learn and execute all Media Operations Center processes and future technologies, including Media Asset Coordinator roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma, relevant certification, or associate degree in Media/Communications or equivalent experience.
• Willing to view mature content and work 24/7 shifts including overnights/weekends on short notice.
• Must be based in or adhere to onsite strategy in Englewood Cliffs, NJ with unrestricted US work authorization. 18+ years old, pass background check.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Experience with PC and MAC systems; ability to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Track record of exceeding performance expectations; punctual and dependable.
• Knowledge of digital formats, codecs, broadcast/production systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
