What you will do
- Provide virtual urgent care services to members and their caregivers within an innovative care model.
- Respond to inbound urgent care needs and triage decisions to dispatch mobile field teams for blended visits.
- Collaborate across clinical and non-clinical care teams to ensure integrated primary, behavioral, and urgent care.
- Conduct virtual patient meetings, obtain medical histories, and order appropriate testing and treatment.
- Foster trusting, empathic relationships with families and communities in a non-judgmental manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pediatric PA or NP in high-volume emergency or urgent care settings.
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC preferred).
- Proven experience managing medically complex pediatric patients.
- Active TX or FL licensure is required.
- Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligibility for application.
- Ability to work a shift-based schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice to have
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Previous experience in virtual care delivery.
- Additional licensure in DC, NY, MO, NC, or GA.
