Salary: $81,000 - $91,000 a year

What you will do

• Analyze, implement, test, and troubleshoot bug-fixes for legacy Java/JSF applications using PrimeFaces.
• Design, develop, and test new features in VA-provided applications with regular team communication.
• Create and update SQL queries for ad hoc database synchronization and Oracle database management.
• Provide defect modifications for real-time budget execution, reporting, and auditing systems.
• Perform XHTML modifications for Section 508 compliance and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server with Apache proxy.
• Contribute to patching, year-end processes, and modernization of legacy applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, 8 years professional experience including 5+ as developer
• Experience with Java, JSF, PrimeFaces; proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, XHTML, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript (4.x), jQuery (3.6+)
• Oracle SQL: writing queries/stored procedures, table creation/database management
• Tools: Git, Linux, Apache Web Server, Oracle WebLogic Server
• Ability to work independently in remote environment and obtain VA MBI clearance
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, interpersonal skills to meet deadlines
