Customer Sales Representative

TL;DR

Customer Sales Representative (Insurance): Selling commercial insurance to business customers through conversations to understand needs and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Focus on achieving individual sales targets, resolving customer queries via phone and email, and becoming expert in products and IT systems.

Location: Hybrid in Colchester (UK), team based in York. After full training, opportunity to work up to 2 days a week from home.

Salary: £25,000 starting (35 hours/week, Mon-Fri 9-5pm)

What you will do

• Sell commercial insurance, understand customer needs, and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
• Handle queries from existing customers via phone and email.
• Meet individual targets for sales, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings, huddles, and collaborate across contact centre teams.
• Undergo 3 weeks initial training plus 4 weeks Academy to build product and system expertise.
