What you will do
- Partner with product and engineering on new launches: conduct security reviews, contribute to implementation, audit vulnerabilities, and influence design decisions.
- Develop and enhance automated security tooling to detect code issues pre- and post-deployment.
- Build application guardrails and promote secure development culture across engineering.
- Assist in security operations: incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security and/or software engineering with security projects or generalist experience
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Deep technical expertise in building secure platforms, security design, and code reviews
- Thrive in ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and driving scalable security innovations
- Results-oriented with passion for ’s mental health access mission
Nice to have
- Experience with tools like Lacework, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, React, Postgres, Redis, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Datadog, PagerDuty, Github, Snyk, Semgrep
