What you will do

• Build and optimize reliable, scalable, and low-cost services for a global customer base.
• Ship innovative features for the CDN market to improve edge content delivery.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to develop and iterate on large-scale systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
• Take ownership of projects from scoping requirements through to actual launch.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (non-internship).
• Proficiency in modern languages such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring, or acting as a tech lead.
• Proven track record in architecture and design patterns for reliable and scalable systems.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to London, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in Rust, C, or Java (3+ years experience).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP) and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with low-level optimizations and eBPF.
• Experience building large-scale web services backed by AWS.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
