Lead Product Engineer - Genus & Innovus

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Genus-to-Innovus digital implementation reference flows for foundry design service teams.
• Support RTL synthesis, floorplanning, placement, clock-tree synthesis, routing, and physical optimization for production SoC designs.
• Provide methodology guidance on timing closure, congestion mitigation, power-aware implementation, and advanced-node challenges.
• Support hierarchical and block-based implementation flows across design service and multi-project environments.
• Diagnose convergence issues affecting timing, power, area, and routability in late design stages.
• Enable reusable implementation flows and assist with ECO implementation, late-stage timing closure, and tapeout readiness.

Requirements

• Experience supporting foundry-preferred synthesis and place-and-route methodologies aligned with signoff expectations.
• Experience with consistent constraint handling using SDC and UPF across RTL synthesis and physical implementation.
• Experience with power-intent-driven implementation, low-power optimization, and power-domain integration.
• Knowledge of routing congestion, multi-patterning-aware placement, and clock-tree-synthesis robustness at advanced nodes.
• Experience integrating Genus and Innovus flows with signoff tools including Tempus, Quantus, Voltus, and Pegasus.
• Experience supporting hierarchical and block-based implementation flows, ECO implementation, timing closure, and tapeout readiness.
