What you will do

• Act as a design authority for complex electronic subsystems across the entire product life cycle, from concept to production.
• Perform high-level engineering analysis, simulation, and design validation using SPICE and MATLAB.
• Drive designs through PDR, CDR, and detailed design phases, including the creation of manufacturing data packs.
• Collaborate with industrial and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible, testable, and supportable.
• Design and develop specialized test equipment, tooling, and assembly procedures.
• Provide production support through debugging, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum BEng in Electronic Engineering (BEng Hons preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of experience in electronic hardware development within a product development environment.
• Proven track record of taking electronic designs from concept through to production.
• Proficiency with CAD and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or HyperLynx.
• Experience with FPGA/firmware toolchains (e.g., Vivado, ModelSim, Xilinx SDK, HDL).
• Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, mixed-signal design, and EMC/EMI principles.
