What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML technologies for vehicle motion control and estimation.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of AI/ML-based systems to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including control engineers and software developers, to define project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and resource planning for the engineering group.
• Define system architecture incorporating industry standards for robustness and maintainability.
• Communicate project status, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML, control systems, or safety-critical embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Demonstrated technical background in chassis controls and/or vehicle dynamics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA.
• Experience with safety compliance of embedded systems.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed global teams.
• Familiarity with tools like MATLAB-Simulink, ETAS, Jira/Jama, and Git.
