What you will do

• Execute DQA test plans across assigned products and milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT) following precise procedures.
• Run performance benchmarks on storage and connectivity products using tools like CrystalDiskMark and AmorphousDiskMark across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
• Conduct compatibility, reliability, stress, and out-of-box experience (OOB) validation.
• Perform thermal and environmental monitoring using FLIR cameras and S.M.A.R.T. telemetry.
• Log discovered issues in the tracker with clear reproduction steps and provide detailed photo documentation.
• Manage lab organization, including cable inventory, equipment setup, and sample tracking.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in hardware validation, hardware QA, or technical support (internships and academic labs count).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Must be based in or able to work fully on-site in Woodstock, IL.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test plans exactly.
• Clear, organized written communication for logging test results and issues.
• Physical comfort with hands-on lab work, including equipment setup and device handling.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with storage performance tools (CrystalDiskMark, Blackmagic Disk Speed Test).
• Basic familiarity with command-line tools on macOS and/or Windows.
• Introductory scripting ability in Python or Bash.
• Exposure to S.M.A.R.T. monitoring or drive diagnostic tools.
• Experience with test case management or bug tracking systems.
