What you will do

• Lead vulnerability management and coordinate third-party penetration testing, including prioritization and validation of fixes.
• Design and implement security controls across cloud platforms (GCP), identity systems, endpoints, and corporate infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments, document risks, and drive remediation with technical and business partners.
• Monitor emerging threats and enhance detection and response capabilities.
• Build and maintain automated workflows for vulnerability tracking and configuration monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and promote secure-by-design practices across teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on security engineering and risk management.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and vulnerability management practices.
• Experience securing cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with SIEM tools, detection tuning, and incident response.
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.
