What you will do

• Develop, implement, and document security policies and controls aligned with NIST and CIS standards.
• Protect systems and infrastructure across cloud platforms and containerized environments.
• Identify and analyze security risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior analysts to support remediation and secure practices.
• Support audit readiness through documentation, evidence gathering, and control validation.
• Contribute to security automation using Python and manage IAM/SSO processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in information security or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of security concepts such as least privilege, authentication, and encryption.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Strong technical and analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or Linux+.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with container security and infrastructure hardening.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Awareness of identity technologies like Active Directory, SAML, and OAuth.
