Location: Must be local to the DMV area.

What you will do
- Develop and implement business development strategy targeting opportunities in National Security (DHS, DOJ, DoS) and DoD (Navy, Army, Air Force) agencies.
- Identify and qualify new contract opportunities, leveraging GWACs like OASIS and Polaris for task orders.
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in federal agencies to secure awards.
- Lead capture management, support proposal development, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.
- Monitor market trends, provide intelligence to leadership, and represent the company at industry events.
- Mentor BD team and collaborate with executives like COO for aligned growth strategies.
Requirements
- Must be local to the DMV area.
- 10-15 years total experience, including 8+ years in federal business development focused on National Security and DoD.
- Proven track record in qualification, win strategy, capture, and proposal support for RPA (UiPath), low-code (Power Platform), data engineering/analytics, digital transformation.
- Knowledge of federal procurement (FAR, DFARS) and agency needs in DHS, DOJ, DoS, Navy, Army, Air Force.
- Established network with federal stakeholders and success capturing 8(a), WOSB, unrestricted contracts.
- Bachelor’s in Business, IT, Government or related; MBA preferred; strong leadership and strategic skills.
Nice to have
- Experience capturing opportunities in Salesforce and ServiceNow for National Security/DoD.
- Technology consulting background in IT modernization, cloud engineering, analytics, automation.
