What you will do

• Gather and identify project requirements and conduct conceptual feasibility studies.
• Perform project planning, including cost estimation and scheduling.
• Design analog and digital PCBs using CAD tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, and LTSim.
• Execute detailed analysis on circuit noise, timing, thermal/cooling, and electrical loads.
• Define interfaces with critical sub-systems and manage design validation planning and FW integration.
• Collaborate across Mechanical, Optical, Software, and Manufacturing engineering teams for system-level qualification.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Milpitas, CA, USA
• PhD with 3+ years of experience, Master's with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years of related work experience.
• Expertise in low-noise linear analog circuitry and high-speed digital design.
• Experience with CCD sensors and image acquisition.
• Understanding of advanced FPGA devices and coding techniques.
• Proficiency in using advanced electronics laboratory equipment.
