Information Assurance Specialist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Provide protection against malware and manage intrusion prevention and defense strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive Information Assurance (IA) documentation using XACTA-IA Manager and ensure compliance with DIACAP.
• Develop and manage system configuration plans, recovery plans, and Continuity of Operation Plans (COOP).
• Perform monthly reporting on IA actions, including security scans and mitigation efforts.
• Manage semi-annual reporting for Data Center and Cloud Storage Authority to Connect/Operate (ATC/ATO) status.
• Provide technical support for GIS, C2, AI/Machine Learning (ML), and information management.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Must hold an IAM Level II Certificate or higher (e.g., Security+ and CAP, CASP+, CCISO, CISM, CISSP).
• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration and information assurance within a DoD environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing integrated C2 suites and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Camp Pendleton, CA.
