What you will do

• Lead AI-Ready Data Platform architecture and delivery, defining scalable patterns for AI use cases and interoperability.
• Establish data architecture patterns, modeling standards, guardrails, and best practices including medallion architecture, ingestion, normalization, and data quality.
• Oversee key platform projects like data layer re-architecture, schema modernization, and data model evolution.
• Mentor teams, guide projects, and ensure adherence to high standards in data engineering and architecture.
• Drive best practices for AI-Ready data, data contracts, and consistency across products.
• Partner on data governance, security, classification, retention, and access controls.
• Enable adoption with reference implementations, blueprints, observability standards for quality, lineage, and monitoring.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software development and data engineering, 5+ years in senior technical leadership as Principal Developer or Data Architect.
• Demonstrated experience architecting data for AI workflows in production: embedding pipelines, vector retrieval, RAG, real-time/event-driven flows for agentic systems.
• Experience with AI platform integration: agent orchestration, LLM observability; familiarity with LangGraph, Langfuse, AWS Bedrock, AWS AgentCore preferred.
• Enabling secure interoperability with customer AI systems, data governance in large organizations.
• Designing modern cloud-native data platforms (AWS preferred): lakehouse, medallion, Spark, Trino, ETL/ELT.
• Hands-on with data tech: MongoDB, DynamoDB, MS SQL, Redis; AWS services like S3, Athena, Glue, EMR.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, DevOps collaboration, communication skills; strong English required.

• Postgres, pgvector, Kafka/Pub/Sub.
• Observability tools: CloudWatch, New Relic, OpenTelemetry.
