IT Systems Administrator

What you will do

• Collaborate with IT team on system enhancements, incident resolution, and process improvements for technical efficiency.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows systems and servers.
• Manage firewalls, Extreme Networks VOSS switches, and SIEM infrastructure for performance and security.
• Administer M365 environment and VMware vSphere-based infrastructure using best practices.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans, security updates, anti-virus systems, and licensing renewals.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards like Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience; Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field preferred (equivalent experience/certifications considered).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Distributed File System (DFS), and VMware vSphere/vSAN.
• Ability to create scripts and automate tasks in PowerShell.
• Experience in manufacturing IT environment preferred.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications: CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Extreme Networks, VMware, Microsoft Azure/M365, CISSP/CISM.
• Familiarity with programming languages (C#, VB, .NET).
• Experience with cloud backup technologies.
