• Review architecture and guide decisions for scalability, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and engineer development through feedback and growth plans.

Requirements

• Based in Menlo Park, CA with 5 days per week in-person attendance.
• Experience managing teams building high-availability backend systems.
• Ability to define and track goals like uptime, latency, and delivery timelines.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience in financial systems, trading platforms, or regulated environments.
• Clear communication to explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
