What you will do

• Carry out pre-production and post-production for live and pre-recorded programmes in studio and field.
• Develop story ideas with editorial judgment, producing accurate and impartial journalism.
• Research, write, assemble, edit, and deliver content using video, audio, digital equipment across platforms.
• Liaise with teams and departments to share material and uphold best practices.
• Work across reporting and outputting in multiple skillsets flexibly.

Requirements

• Located in York for onsite work at hirify.global York.
• Strong journalistic experience, editorial judgment, hirify.global news agenda knowledge, production techniques.
• Technically proficient in broadcast tools, writing/adapting content for audiences and platforms including social media.
• Highly organised, adaptable, manage priorities, deadlines, perform under pressure.
• Excellent team player, communicator, creative ideas contributor, committed to diversity and inclusion.
