TL;DR

Civil Engineer - Site Development (Civil Engineering): Designing and managing civil site development projects with an accent on grading, stormwater, and pavement design. Focus on navigating the permitting process, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering infrastructure growth from conceptual phase to completion.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in or be able to relocate to the US (Overland Park, KS; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL). No visa sponsorship available.

What you will do

  • Perform civil design from the conceptual and bid phase through project completion based on client requirements.
  • Develop technical designs for grading, stormwater management, erosion control, culverts, and pavements.
  • Manage the permitting process and maintain direct interaction with external clients and sub-consultants.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary internal teams to ensure effective project communication.
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Support business development by writing technical approaches and scopes of work for client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of site plans, permitting, grading, and stormwater design.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
