What you will do

• Lead the support and operation of cloud infrastructure, platform services, and security controls across Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Manage production Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes) clusters, including upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Own complex incidents and high-risk operational work, serving as a senior escalation point for major outages.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation to improve service quality and consistency.
• Mentor other Cloud Engineers and provide technical guidance on operational best practices.
• Utilize scripting, automation, and AI to reduce repetitive effort and scale service delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years in customer-facing IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or managed services support in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience supporting production OpenShift environments (on-premises, ROSA, ARO, etc.).
• Strong operational expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, OCI, or GCP).
• Experience with Linux/Windows server operations, networking fundamentals, and identity access management.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator, RHCSA, CKA, CKAD, or AWS/Azure certifications.
• Experience in managed services or consulting environments supporting complex enterprise customers.
