Salary: $86,800 – $198,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain resilient infrastructure for government agencies to ensure system efficiency.
• Implement monitoring tools, build redundancy, and automate self-repair mechanisms.
• Reduce operational toil by scripting routine tasks and optimizing system performance.
• Measure latency and availability across a wide range of applications.
• Act as an SRE Champion, coaching and assisting junior engineers on product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience measuring service SLIs using Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• 5+ years of experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience in scripting or coding with Python, Go, or Bash.
• 5+ years of experience designing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• 5+ years of experience deploying code via GitLab or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI Ops and self-healing solutions.
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of chaos engineering and resilience testing.
• Cloud certifications and experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
