Salary: $124,000 - $329,200 /Yr

What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions and GraphQL/REST APIs across multiple hirify.global services.
• Maintain and extend Ruby on Rails applications and Go services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and perform code reviews to foster team growth.
• Improve service reliability through instrumentation, monitoring, and SLO management.
• Write architecture briefs, conduct code experiments, and build prototypes for planetary-scale systems.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as Go, Ruby, Java, C++, or Python.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) is preferred but equivalent experience is accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience building end-to-end applications leveraging agentic AI.
• Experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails or React applications.
• Proficiency with relational databases and distributed systems operating at scale.
