What you will do

• Design and own the architecture including data models, sync protocols, APIs, and client-side state management.
• Build backend services for collaborative editing, conflict resolution, and content delivery at scale.
• Develop frontend systems for real-time visual editing, page builders, and publishing workflows.
• Define engineering standards for APIs, testing, performance, and observability.
• Evaluate third-party services and make build-vs-buy decisions.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with product/design, and engage with customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience with full product lifecycle ownership.
• Genuine full-stack experience shipping backend (APIs, data services, cloud infra) and frontend (UIs, components, browser perf) systems.
• Experience with real-time/collaborative systems, event-driven architectures, or live sync.
• Cloud-native fluency in GCP/AWS/Cloudflare/Azure with containerization and deployment pipelines.
• API design expertise in REST/GraphQL/event-driven interfaces.
• Frontend architecture including component modeling, state management, and rendering performance.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship; E-Verify used.

Nice to have

• Experience with visual/low-code editing, page builders, or WYSIWYG.
• Familiarity with CMS architectures (headless/hybrid).
• Building developer platforms, SDKs, plugins, or CLI tools.
• Open-source contributions in web/developer tooling.
