What you will do

• Own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for RFPs, RFIs, SBIRs, BAAs, and commercial bids.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including BD, Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to ensure on-time, compliant submissions.
• Develop and maintain a reusable proposal asset library comprising templates, SOWs, and capability narratives.
• Translate complex technical engineering and product concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for evaluators.
• Manage pricing and cost volume coordination to ensure competitive and credible cost narratives.
• Establish scalable proposal operations, including workflows, scorecards, and checklists.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in proposal or program management within defense tech, space, or dual-use sectors.
• Proven track record leading government solicitations such as SBIRs, RFPs, and BAAs.
• Deep expertise in SBIR/STTR positioning and program structures.
• Strong technical communication skills to distill system architecture and product concepts.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS compliance and government procurement portals like SAM.gov.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Sunnyvale, CA.

Nice to have

• APMP, PMP, or Shipley certification.
• Experience in Earth observation or robotics sectors.
• Proficiency with proposal automation tools such as Deltek or Responsive.
