What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures using Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, and Cisco products.
• Lead firewall migration projects with policy analysis, configuration translation, and deployment using vendor tools.
• Build new network security infrastructures and expand existing environments.
• Perform security policy reviews, rulebase optimization, and threat prevention tuning.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multi-vendor environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor security events, maintain documentation, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 4+ years hands-on with Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls.
• 4+ years in security policy design, rulebase optimization, and multi-vendor hardening.
• 2+ years using firewall migration tools like Expedition, FortiConverter, SmartMove.
• Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, VPN, NAT, and IPS.
• Willingness to work hybrid on-site in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC; no visa sponsorship or relocation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• SIEM, log management, threat intelligence tools.
• Industry certifications: PCNSA/PCNSE, NSE4/5, CCSA/CCSE.
