CyberSecurity Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert in cyber domains including cloud security, security architecture, and offensive security.
• Engineer custom security solutions and perform targeted collection to degrade adversarial operations.
• Participate in all phases of the cyber operations lifecycle, from initial planning to engineering.
• Apply advanced security principles to solve exceptionally difficult technical problems.
• Provide ongoing consultative and operational support for complex security requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• DOD 8570 compliance: IAT Level II required at time of hire.
• Must achieve IAT Level III, IAM Level II, and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications within six months of hire.
• 3 years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Deep understanding of modern security best practices for hybrid cloud-based infrastructure and networks.
• Must be able to work on-site in Hampton, VA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Trellix/ePO, LogRhythm, and Elastic.
• RedHat Linux Administration experience.
• Proficiency with AWS and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
