Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US and able to commute to a company Hub, e.g., Chicago, IL)
Salary: $135,000 - $230,000 USD Annual

What you will do
- Lead network security efforts and automate capabilities for migration to AWS and Azure Public Cloud.
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Perimeter Defense solutions, including Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler proxy.
- Develop and test strategies for the detection and prevention of security threats using IDS/IPS and DDoS mitigation systems.
- Automate security deployments through infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, Network, and Security Architecture teams to define and implement security standards.
- Mentor and train other security team members on perimeter defense technology and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical security engineering with a focus on Perimeter Defense.
- Deep working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
- Proven automation skills using Terraform, Python, and API calls for security configuration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Zscaler Proxy, and DDoS mitigation systems.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship is provided.
Nice to have
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP.
- Strong understanding of advanced network architecture and protocols.
