What you will do

• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of Forward Deployed AI Engineers.
• Own the technical and operational standards for AI engagements, reviewing SOWs and shaping complex architectures.
• Build repeatable playbooks and patterns to scale successful AI deployments across enterprise customers.
• Manage hands-on technical delivery, transitioning between C-suite strategic conversations and technical debugging.
• Partner with Sales to scope engagements and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Anthropic field teams to influence partner product direction based on field insights.

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical roles with at least 3 years leading engineering or delivery teams.
• Production experience building agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, advanced RAG, and evaluation frameworks at scale.
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams from the early stages.
• Experience navigating complex enterprise dynamics, including procurement, compliance, and stakeholder management.
• Strong Python proficiency and comfort working directly with production code.
• Vertical expertise in Financial Services, Energy, or Healthcare.
• Must be based in the US (New York).

Nice to have

• Former technical founder or CTO experience.
• Experience with MCP server development and enterprise agent deployment patterns.
• Senior-level experience within partner ecosystems such as Anthropic or AWS.
• External thought leadership or presence in the AI Engineering space.
• Experience in a forward-deployed engineering model (e.g., Palantir, Anthropic, DeepMind).
