Head of Web Development (Fintech): Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of high-traffic corporate and marketing websites with an accent on scalability, performance, and conversion-driven experiences. Location: Hybrid in Larnaca, Cyprus (2 days WFH). Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance available.

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and scale web development teams (Frontend, Backend, QA).
- Define and execute website technology strategy and roadmap.
- Oversee development and optimization of corporate/marketing websites, CMS platforms, backend systems, and promotional email deliverability.
- Ensure high-performing, responsive websites optimized across browsers and devices.
- Drive SEO, Core Web Vitals, conversion rate optimization, security, and data protection.
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Product, UX/UI, and Compliance teams to align web experiences with business goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years in web development, 5+ years leading engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in modern web technologies (React, NextJS, NodeJS, Python, HTML, CSS3).
- Strong experience integrating websites with backend systems (APIs, services) and databases for high-traffic sites.
- Proven track record building and scaling high-traffic websites.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and translating business KPIs into technical objectives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, trading, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with data-driven/interactive web experiences (e.g., dashboards).
- Experience with CMS platforms, especially headless CMS.
- Strong understanding of SEO in competitive global markets.
