TL;DR
Children, Young People & Families End-Point Assessor (Education): Providing independent and fair assessment services for apprenticeship standards in the children, young people, and families sector with an accent on occupational competency and internal quality assurance. Focus on delivering end-point assessments, training new assessors, and managing risk ratings as a Lead IQA.
Location: Remote with travel; must be based in the UK and have access to own transport
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum

What you will do
- Deliver an annual caseload of End-Point Assessments (EPA) for Children, Young People and Families pathways (Levels 4 and 5).
- Act as Lead IQA to apply and manage risk ratings for assessors within the sector.
- Design and deliver training materials and standardization activities for new onboarding assessors.
- Create and deliver externally facing training content to support stakeholders and customers.
- Resolve complex customer queries, conduct investigations into malpractice, and handle assessment discrepancies.
- Support EQA activities and quality assure sample evidence.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and have access to own transport for business travel.
- Competence in assessing Children and Families Practitioner and Manager standards with industry experience within the last 3 years.
- Relevant Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA equivalent) or EPA qualification.
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.
- Proven experience in work-based learning assessment and internal quality assurance (IQA).
- Proficiency in remote assessment tools and Microsoft Office packages.
Nice to have
- Internal Quality Assurer Qualification (D34, V1).
- Early Years and Education level 3 or DfE Approved qualification level 6.
- Experience in End-Point Assessment delivery and engaging with EQA activities.
