Accounts Payable Accountant (1 Year Contract): Independently process invoices, credit notes, claims, and execute payment runs with an accent on supplier queries resolution, bank reconciliations, and vendor master data maintenance. Focus on month-end/year-end activities, reporting, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration.

Location: Krakow, hybrid working (60% office, 40% remote). Offices across Europe (Munich, Madrid, Krakow, Wroclaw, London, Vienna).

What you will do

• Process invoices, credit notes, claims, and manage payment runs ensuring Treasury compliance
• Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
• Handle bank postings, reconciliations, and vendor master data updates
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and support month-end/year-end closings
• Provide payment forecasts, budgets reporting, and participate in system testing
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury; represent AP in meetings and drive process improvements

Requirements

• Fluent English (C1) and strong German (A2/B1+)
• 2-3 years AP or finance experience
• Solid knowledge of AP processes, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel
• Ability to prioritize, manage workload independently, solve problems under pressure
• Clear communication, professional maturity, accountability, and proactivity
